Dido Press is an Imprint of Aeneas Ltd and was established in December 2002 with key objectives of:

• Sustaining Guyanese and Caribbean literature, history, poetry and politics

• Developing new Caribbean talent

• Publishing academic and educational resources by Caribbean Scholars and academics for the Caribbean

• Promoting Caribbean writings to the Diaspora and wider English Market.

We are based in the UK and have a presence in Georgetown Guyana, New York and Toronto . The collection was launched a year ago in Guyana with the publication of The Lure of the Mermaid and other Children's Stories by Janet Jagan.
